About the Role 

The HR Coordinator provides essential administrative support across most major HR functions, onboarding, benefits administration, record management , and HR related Projects. They ensure compliance with labor laws while fostering a positive workplace culture and addressing employee inquiries.   

This HR Coordinator will be the department's on-site representative and first contact for employees, promoting open communication and trust in HR. Reporting to the HR Manager or Director, the Coordinator helps oversee daily operations and the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, retention, and adherence to policies.

What You’ll Do 

Onboarding & Offboarding 

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process: send welcome emails and ensure all new-hire paperwork is completed accurately and filed promptly 
  • Follow the onboarding checklist, process background checks, and E-Verify promptly 
  • Create and set up Workday accounts and benefits for new employees if needed 
  • Process employee terminations and updating the corresponding departments 

Records Management & Compliance 

  • Maintain accurate digital and physical employee files in a consistent and organized manner to ensure easy retrieval 
  • Update Workday and all other platforms with correct employee information, including job and salary changes
