JOB PURPOSE

This role is part of our Global Studios team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients.

As a Designer, you will be creating engaging designs that start conversations between people and brands. You’ll work within a team of strategists, designers and copywriters to deliver impactful designs that fulfil client briefs and communicate DEPT®’s standard of Design.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Working on a brief from start to finish.
• Contributing with innovative ideas at creative briefs.
• Creating high-quality design work.
• Image sourcing and digital artworking.
• AI prompting and image generation
• Designing responsive, customer-centric emails (and more!)
• Always striving to create work that contributes to client's business goals.
• Staying current with design and marketing trends.
• Learn and grow from constructive feedback.
• Being able to mentor more junior members of the team.
• Taking accountability for flawless design output.
• Delivering work on time and within the scheduled timeframes.
• Designing small animations (simple GIFs) for digital assets.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Digital design experience on industry standard design frameworks like Figma and Photoshop.
• Self driven and resourceful.
• Good eye for layout, skilled in typesetting and retouching.
• A great teammate that supports their colleagues and doesn’t act as an individual.
• Very organised with attention to detail.
• Has a desire to embrace new skills and challenges.
• Experience with Weavy.ai or other node-based AI systems a plus.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 CAD. Salary is based on relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact.
