What is the opportunity?
RBC AI Group is building and scaling an Early Talent & Employee Experience function focused on fostering a world-class experience ecosystem that rivals leading technical organizations.
As Senior Manager, Early Talent & Employee Experience, you will play a critical role in shaping how talent joins, grows, connects and succeeds within the AI Group. You’ll design the programs and moments that help top AI, machine learning, software engineering, and product talent build meaningful careers with us.
This role is focused on strategy, experience design, and program ownership. You'll shape and evolve critical talent moments, facilitate key experiences yourself, and work closely with leaders across the AI Group to deliver thoughtful, consistent programs that set employees up for long-term success.
As the function is in its early stages, responsibilities will continue to evolve as priorities, programs, and operating models become more defined. We are looking for someone who is energized by ambiguity, enjoys solving problems, operates with extreme ownership, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to support a wide variety of initiatives.
In summary, we are looking for a builder—someone who can move seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and is excited by the opportunity to create something that will shape the future of the AI Group.
What will you do?

- Build experiences that position the AI Group as an employer of choice for top AI, machine learning, software engineering and product talent.

Employee Experience
- Design and implement employee experience initiatives across key moments that matter, including onboarding, integration, growth and community building.
- Create scalable approaches that accelerate productivity, engagement, belonging and retention.
- Identify opportunities to differentiate the AI Group employee experience while leveraging enterprise programs where appropriate.
- Gather employee insights and translate findings into actionable improvements.
Strategy & Program Development
- Support the development and execution of components of the AI Group Talent & Experience strategy.
- Build business cases, recommendations, executive presentations and strategic plans.
- Establish success metrics, reporting and governance mechanisms.
- Conduct external benchmarking to identify innovative practices from leading technology organizations.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Partner with senior leaders across the AI Group to understand business needs and translate them into talent solutions.
- Influence and align stakeholders across HR, recruitment, learning, communications and operations teams.
- Lead cross-functional working groups and strategic initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:

- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication abilities.
- Experience developing executive presentations, recommendations and business cases.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience supporting talent, employee experience, learning or HR-related programs.
- Experience in management consulting, professional services, strategy, project management or similar environments.
