We are seeking a dedicated Specialty Dr in Old Age Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be?

This role involves working across older adult mental health services, including Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) and inpatient settings. You will be responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments, contributing to treatment and care planning, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality mental health services for older adults. The postholder will also participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with NHS standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
• Experience in old age psychiatry, including CMHT and inpatient settings
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• A commitment to delivering patient-centred care
