Pay Range: $17.48 – $19.00 per hour, DOE
Position Summary
Loma Linda Assisted Living is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medication Technician to support the health and well-being of our residents. This role is responsible for the safe administration of medications and providing compassionate support in a warm, resident-centered assisted living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents in compliance with state regulations and facility policies
- Observe, document, and report residents’ responses to medications and any changes in condition
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, nursing staff, and leadership
- Ensure medication carts and storage areas are clean, organized, and secure
- Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current Medication Technician certification (as required by state regulations)
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
