The Opportunity:

  • Position: Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

  • Rate: $50+ per hour (depending on experience)

  • Location: Delta View Post Acute

Your Leadership Impact:

As the ADON, you will be a cornerstone of the nursing department, providing the stability and clinical oversight essential for a thriving care environment.

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the DON in planning, developing, and supervising all nursing activities and departmental objectives.

  • Team Development: Take a leading role in recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring both licensed and non-licensed staff.

  • Clinical Oversight: Oversee daily clinical operations, conduct rounds, and monitor resident conditions to ensure safety and high-quality care delivery.

  • Staff Management: Assist with employee evaluations, problem-solving, and disciplinary actions to foster a high-performing team.

  • Resident Advocacy: Act as a vital liaison between residents, families, and physicians, ensuring effective communication and respectful treatment of all residents.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory changes, assist in developing policies and procedures, and conduct ongoing in-services for the nursing team.

  • Operational Support: Serve as the primary backup for the DON and provide direct resident care as needed to ensure seamless facility operations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current, valid California LVN License (RNs are also encouraged to apply; BSN preferred).

  • Experience: 3-5 years of nursing management experience, ideally within long-term care or skilled nursing environments.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise and manage a diverse clinical staff effectively.

  • Professionalism: Exceptional communication skills with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality for residents and staff.
