This position reports to:

Integrated Production Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. 

The work model for the role is onsite.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.

  • Prepares technical documentation regarding the process phases and the related methods and cycle times in order to ensure optimal OEE, Efficiency and Productivity, assist the Production by providing and giving advice about updated processes, machines and technical requirements

  • Assist Continuous Improvement activities by being active member in Gemba Meetings, Quality Circles meetings and Problem Solving sessions

  • Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.

 

Qualifications for the role

  • You have 2 years of experience in Manufacturing with assembly processes

  • University degree in Engineering

  • You are at ease communicating in English

  • Sound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5s, TAKT, OEE, Problem Solving Methodology, Value Stream Maps) will be considered as an advantage

  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system will be considered as an advantage

  • Good computer literacy, especially MS Office, AutoCad, Solidworks

  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
