The Impact You’ll Make in this Role (Job Responsibilities):
The IT Business Partner for China mainland and HK serves as the strategic liaison between the business units and the IT organization. This role is responsible for aligning IT initiatives with business objectives, ensuring delivery of high-value solutions, and driving digital innovation that enables growth, operational excellence, and superior customer experiences.
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for the Business unit, developing a deep understanding of strategies, priorities, and challenges.
- Partner with business leaders to shape and prioritize IT initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
- Translate business requirements into IT roadmaps and oversee the successful delivery of projects, enhancements, and services.
- Ensure IT investments align with BU’s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships between IT and business stakeholders through transparent communication and collaboration.
- Provide strategic guidance on IT-related matters, including system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digital enablement.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiencies, and introduce innovative solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices across IT, healthcare, and dental business operations.
Your skills & expertise (Minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in IT business partnering, IT leadership, or a similar role, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or the dental/medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise systems and technologies such as CRM, ERP, eCommerce, MES, and related business applications.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing, highly dynamic business environment.
- Ensure compliance with China-specific data privacy, cybersecurity, and healthcare regulations.
- Demonstrated project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience working with local China vendors, system integrators, or digital platforms preferred.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements impacting IT in healthcare/dental industries.
- Experience leading or influencing local teams within a global matrix organization.

Work location: Shanghai, China
· Hybrid Eligible - Job Duties allow for some remote work but require to be in office at least 2 - 3 days per week
Travel: Subject to business need
