Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a large custom home construction project. This role is responsible for managing all phases of the project—from pre-construction through final delivery—ensuring that the home is built to the highest standards of quality, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and quality control.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and the homeowner to ensure project goals and specifications are met.
- Prepare and manage project timelines and budgets; track progress and report on milestones and any variances.
- Obtain permits and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, and subcontractor schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Address and resolve issues as they arise, keeping all stakeholders informed.
- Maintain detailed documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and daily logs.
- Manage final inspections, punch lists, and project closeout to ensure a smooth handoff to the client.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably in high-end residential or large-scale custom homes.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proven track record of delivering complex residential projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- OSHA certification and a valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with luxury homes or architecturally significant properties.

Monticello offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
