Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategically minded Senior Specialist to lead both product and project management initiatives within the Logistics Planning department. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of logistics product planning and cross-functional project leadership, requiring deep expertise in supply chain systems, change management, CAPEX planning, and Agile methodologies.

You will serve as the logistics representative in product development and sourcing decisions, while also managing complex logistics projects from concept through execution. This role demands strong analytical skills, executive-level communication, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Lead and manage end-to-end logistics planning projects using Agile and hybrid methodologies.
Represent logistics interests in product sourcing decisions, Model Line meetings and make vs buy analysis.
Coordinate the Evolution of logistics costs, related to Aeko evaluations and KPIs related to product changes.
Coordinate the evaluation of part changes from a logistics perspective, including packaging, routing, warehouse impact, and material flow.
Lead change management processes for part changes, including impact assessments, budget planning, and implementation tracking.
Coordinate high-level logistics projects tied to product development, including layout changes and new model integration.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Production, IT, and Finance teams.
Provide executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations on logistics and product decisions.
Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, risks, and resources.
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in logistics and supply chain planning.
Support and coordinate Material Flow Engineers and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Location & Travel Expectations:

This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina
This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
