This Position reports to:

IS Service Owner

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead defined service lines in the design and development of end-to-end lifecycle roadmaps and effective and efficient delivery of services together with a team of dedicated internal and external suppliers. Each day, you will be responsible to design, implement, and maintain the framework to deliver the services in scope, on time, within budget, and in line with the customer’s expectations. You will also showcase your expertise by managing multiple third-party global vendor contracts to assure high service quality and optimizing the cost.

This role is contributing to the core IS Services in India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Define and maintain the strategic direction for SAP BTP and ABAP platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and digital transformation goals.
Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of ABAP development and BTP services, including design, build, deploy, and maintenance across cloud and on-premises environments.
Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads to design scalable, maintainable, and secure ABAP/BTP-based solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Govern custom development standards, reusable components, and code quality to ensure long-term sustainability and adherence to SAP best practices.
Engage with product owners, business analysts, and delivery teams to capture requirements, prioritize development efforts, and provide expert guidance on feasibility and approach
Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of ABAP developments and BTP services through continuous improvement and proactive support.
Promote adoption of emerging SAP technologies such as SAP RAP, CAP, SAP Build, and AI/ML services on BTP, enabling business innovation and agility.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and audit requirements within the custom development and BTP landscapes.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and upskilling support to internal development teams and external partners

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's or master's degree in any background, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant experience preferred 10 to 12+ years.
Minimum 3+ years managing teams, stakeholders, and vendors in a service delivery environment
Certifications required- ITIL certifications
Certifications preferred- PMP and other SAP technology related certifications
