JOB DESCRIPTION:
ABOUT LINGO
At Lingo, we’re building the future of personal health insights through always-on biosensor data, real-time analytics, and personalized recommendations. Our platform ingests millions of readings daily, delivering clinically relevant insights to consumers and partners across the globe. As we expand across multiple regions, data architecture is mission-critical, ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, compliant, and able to power innovation across product, marketing, and R&D.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to help drive execution across complex technical initiatives spanning mobile applications, cloud/backend services, platform engineering, and regulated release activities. This role is focused on delivery of mechanics and technical Project coordination, ensuring engineering teams can execute effectively across dependencies, milestones, risks, and cross-functional handoffs.
You will partner closely with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, Product Managers, QA, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Program Management to translate plans into clear workstreams, maintain visibility into delivery health, and keep execution on track. This role is especially important in a lean pod model, where Product focuses on outcomes and Engineering owns SDLC execution end-to-end.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organized, technically fluent, and effective at bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex software delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive delivery execution across technical initiatives, including sprint planning support, backlog readiness tracking, dependency follow-up, and milestone coordination.
- Translate technical plans into executable workstreams, sequencing, and timelines in partnership with Engineering Managers and Tech Leads.
- Identify, track, and escalate risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies early, with clear ownership and mitigation paths.
- Coordinate work across mobile, backend, cloud/platform, QA, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and other partner functions.
- Maintain clear views of project status, including milestones, scope of changes, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Partner with Engineering and Product to ensure technical work is aligned to roadmap priorities while remaining realistic about capacity and execution constraints.
- Support release readiness by coordinating required technical inputs, dependency closure, test evidence of readiness, and broader execution checkpoints.
- Help establish sustainable ways of working across engineering teams, reducing reliance on ad-hoc coordination, and improving predictability.
- Facilitate communication across teams and stakeholders, so work is visible, aligned, and not hidden across disconnected workstreams or boards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes, operating rhythms, and execution of transparency across the organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, or software delivery leadership.
- Experience coordinating delivery across multiple technical teams, including software, backend, cloud/platform, and test functions.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile delivery practices, and engineering planning workflows.
- Ability to manage dependencies, risks, milestones, and execution across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive clarity and follow-through in ambiguous environments.
- Technical fluency is sufficient to work effectively with engineers, Tech Leads, and Engineering Managers on delivery planning and issue resolution.
- Experience using delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in regulated environments such as medical devices, SaMD, digital health, or other quality-controlled industries.
- Experience supporting mobile + cloud/backend product delivery.
- Familiarity with release of readiness, validation planning, design control inputs, or other structured release processes.
- Experience helping organizations adopt or stabilize lean pod / cross-functional operating models.
- Ability to distinguish clearly between product ownership, technical ownership, and delivery of coordination responsibilities.
LINGO CULTURE
Customer-first, quality-driven, growth-minded, and united. At Lingo, TPMs play a critical role in helping teams execute predictably, surface the right risks early, and deliver high-quality technology without relying on heroics or ad hoc coordination.
