Job Description:

The Senior Pricing Analyst provides end-to-end pricing support by evaluating, developing, and managing pricing requests submitted by UPS small package sales teams to ensure alignment with organizational guidelines, customer requirements, and strategic objectives. This role is responsible for reviewing pricing requests for accuracy and completeness, analyzing data using internal tools, and ensuring proposals meet established approval criteria.

 

The position serves as a key partner to sales, pricing teams, and cross-functional business units, delivering consultative guidance on pricing strategies, competitor positioning, and deal structure. The Senior Pricing Analyst supports complex pricing requests across multiple geographies, UPS products, services, and business units while ensuring data integrity and timely execution.

 

In addition, this role collaborates with contract and legal teams to validate pricing terms and ensure compliance with policies and agreements; monitors accepted proposals to maintain contract integrity; and contributes to continuous process improvement initiatives. The Senior Pricing Analyst also provides ongoing support and education to sales teams on pricing systems, tools, and best practices, driving consistency and efficiency across the pricing function.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
  • Pricing experience – Preferred
  • Contracts experience - Preferred
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a production environment – Preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Preferred
  • Experience demonstrating proficiency using Microsoft Office Access (ex: creating & using databases) - Preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,000/year to $133,500/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
