This position is Paris-based, with relocation support available.
Team
You will be an integral part of a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to one of our most promising prototype in scale. This studio is specifically chartered to improve this high-potential game up to the successful and market-ready title it is meant to become.
Role
We’re seeking a talented and seasoned Game Designer who is deeply passionate about RPG/midcore games and laser-focused on creating the next big hit. With extensive experience in the industry, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering fun to millions of players. As the driving force behind the game's success, you'll ensure the game reaches the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Define a clear, cohesive design pipeline
Pitch and implement big features to the team, deconstructing them into smaller components
Own game balancing, pace, feel
Always back up your ideas with available data points
Ability to deconstruct and analyze mobile games mechanics
Get involved in all aspects of game development: UI, UX, Game Design, logic, performance, etc.
Fine-tune game balancing, pacing, and feel
Benchmark the market to stay on top of new trends
Understanding of models and tools to analyze gameplay and user behavior
Proficiency in Unity a huge plus
Familiarity with Figma or similar visual collaboration software
Able to create a playable prototype individually as well as within a team
Profile
At least 5 years of professional experience in Game Development and at least 3 years as a game designer
Experience working on mobile games, F2P or RPG
Experience in designing LiveOps for a live product is a huge plus
Creative and hacker mindset
Good sense of gameplay experience, and special attention to detail
Communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Knowledge of casual games
Deep collaboration mindset, including excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive mindset towards receiving, acting on, and giving feedback
Accountability, independence, and responsibility when given ownership over your work
An eagerness to learn new ways to perform your tasks in a more efficient way, and to improve yourself day after day
