Programme and Technical Support Manager

Job Description:

Airbus has established a local program management office in the Türkiye acting as the primary ADS program management interface with TA.  We are seeking a skilled PM and Technical Support Manager to join our local program office under the lead of Head of Spanish Trainer Türkiye Program Office.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to join this exciting programme from the very beginning.

Your main tasks will include:

•    Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders, especially locally with TA.
•    Support Project Performance monitoring, control and reporting
•    Act as deputy to Head of TR Program Office and represent Airbus D&S program management with local stakeholders when required
•    Regularly review progress on certification, production, in service preparation, export control etc activities with TA to ensure successful program delivery and entry into service.
•    Support risk management process in Airbus and with TA
•    Support and manage planning of local internal and customer meetings and any other relevant events in Türkiye.
•    Sustaining Airbus values and ensuring strict adherence to Ethics & Compliance and Export Control rules at all time

Desired skills and qualifications
•    University degree in Engineering
•    More than fifteen years of relevant professional experience in aerospace and/or defence industry with international exposure and experience abroad
•    Proven experience in program management, with a strong focus on integrated schedule, risk management, quality management.
•    Experience in military aircraft certification, production, delivery and in service activities would be an advantage. 
•    Experience in working and preferably leading a remote/satellite project office
•    Awareness and network in Turkish defense industry and customer ecosystem
•    Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
•    Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
•    PMP certification would be an advantage
•    Fluency in English and Turkish verbal and written, as well as excellent writing, communication and presentation skills; knowledge of Spanish highly is desirable.
