Who are We?
Brooke Charter Schools is a network of four public charter schools, serving grades K-12 in Mattapan, Roslindale, and East Boston. At Brooke, we coach and invest in our teachers so that they can help our students achieve at the highest levels and graduate from college. The BCBA Role:
- This is a part-time role
- Conducts behavioral assessments (e.g., FBAs) as needed to identify the function of challenging behaviors.
- Develops behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Collects and reviews treatment fidelity data to ensure consistent application of interventions.
- May attend IEP meetings
- Conducts observations of students and consults with student support staff
- Performs other related duties as requested by the Chief of Student Support or Director of Special Programs
Compensation for this role is $100/per hour
Qualifications:
- BCBA Certification
- Experience working with students who have social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a public school setting
- A shared dedication to the Brooke Charter School philosophy and mission
- A commitment to ensuring academic success for all students
- Ability to efficiently write comprehensive and informative FBA and BIPs that contain appropriate goals
- Excellent skills in the areas of teamwork, oral and written communication, and organization
