Job Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow the Small Animal Internal Medicine service
  • Provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care for internal medicine cases
  • Perform and interpret procedures such as ultrasound and endoscopy
  • Collaborate closely with surgery, anesthesia, and referring veterinarians
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring practices and clients
  • Contribute to clinical excellence and the advancement of veterinary medicine

Qualifications

  • DVM (or equivalent) required
  • Board-certified (DACVIM-SAIM) or residency-trained in Small Animal Internal Medicine
  • At least 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for developing a service and delivering exceptional patient care
