The Position

You will join the Business Operations team within the Pharma Technical Cell and Gene Therapy (PTC) organization. Our team partners across local, regional, and global boundaries—including internal stakeholders and external partners—to establish innovative capabilities for our cell and gene therapy portfolio.

You will play a pivotal role in advancing Roche’s portfolio by managing technical  projects, leading cross-functional initiatives, supporting portfolio management and establishing business process and project management standards within PTC. Beyond project execution, you are leading the strategic communication. Beyond project execution, you will lead our strategic communication efforts. By leveraging your expert skills in imaging, digital publishing, and presentation design, you will translate complex data and information into simple, resonant messages that capture the attention of the broader organization and senior stakeholders alike.

The Opportunity

As part of the Business Operations team within PTC, you will managehigh-impact technical projects and strategic communication efforts to advance our cell and gene therapy portfolio.

  • Project Management Excellence: Define objectives and direct the scope, timelines, budgets as applicable and manage risk and performance for multiple complex local and global projects. 

  • Strategic Communication: Translate complex information into resonant messages and high-impact narratives for the broader organization and senior stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage the internal branding, digital portals, and large-scale events like Town Halls.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement lean methodologies, best practices and advanced tools to enhance operational efficiency, standardization and reporting.
     

Who You Are

You are a results-oriented professional who thrives in matrixed environments and brings clarity to complex technical landscapes.

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5+ years of project management experience in the pharma/biotech industry. Experience in cell and gene therapies is a plus. Deep proficiency in diverse project management methodologies with the ability to adapt frameworks to meet evolving team and stakeholder needs, to create results and to drive efficiency.

  • Communication Expert: Exceptional English skills with a proven ability to influence and convey information to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.

  • Multimedia Pro: Proficient in creating professional-grade multimedia, including video, image editing, and executive presentations, and managing internal platforms like SharePoint or Google Sites.

  • Team player: Ability to build constructive relationships across global teams and foster a culture of inclusion without direct authority.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in G-Suite, MS Office, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire and in building collaborative solutions in e.g. Airtable or Monday.
