Our Software Engineers are focused on developing innovative platforms and systems that drive our trading and research efforts. As a C++ Software Engineer with Vatic, you will work directly with traders, researchers, and other developers to engineer cutting edge, ultra-low latency, high throughput trading systems. You will play a key role in taking projects from conception to deployment. You will drive innovation for the frameworks upon which our trading applications are based, as well as benchmarking and tuning critical software services to achieve optimum performance.

If you possess the following, we would love to explore what is available for you with our team:
- Advanced proficiency with C/C++ systems development in a Linux environment
- Performance tuning and optimization of low latency software
- Demonstrable success building high performance software
- Experience building latency sensitive systems with a strong understanding of low-level systems and network development
- Strong understanding of hardware stack and hardware architecture from a latency perspective
- Strong understanding of network protocols
- Experience writing assembly code desirable
- Advanced knowledge of operating system internals and Linux kernel
- Interest in x86 Assembly
