About the role

The Intern participates in the Markets Analyst Program. The 2 year program provides an opportunity to actively participate in the research, trading and marketing of securities to our institutional client base. The Intern rotates across products and functions, to gain a well-rounded experience at Citi.

Responsibilities:
  • Integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices;
  • Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • Creative in solving problems and are intellectually curious
  • Hard-working and diligent
  • Enthusiastic, quick-thinking and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Confident and comfortable with clients
  • Required to pass the appropriate licensing examinations
  • Series 7, 63
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
