Banking, Investment Banking, Placement Analyst Internship, Milan, Italy 2026 - July Intake

Citi Banking is looking for a 6-Month Placement Analyst to join the Investment Banking team in Milan to start from July 2026. The Investment Banking group advises corporate clients who want to raise funds in capital markets and who need strategic support in financial transactions. Initiatives you may be working on with clients include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial restructurings, underwriting, and distributing equity, debt, and derivative securities. We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. During your internship period you will be placed with an Investment Banking team to work with for the duration of the internship and will be guided by senior analysts and associates on the skills required to become a successful analyst.

Your time here will look something like this...

• Conduct research and analyze industry trends related to business development.

• Build financial models, assess valuation and explore corporate finance solutions for big-picture financial analyses.

• Participate in client development, including coordinating data with clients and assisting in presentation of new ideas to clients

We want to hear from you if...

• You are available to start in July 2026

• You have strong academics 

• You are currently enrolled in a University that can provide an internship agreement

• Have an interest in Investment Banking 

• You are fluent in English and Italian 

• In your CV, please clearly specify: (i) graduation grade; (ii) exams GPA ("media ponderata"); (iii) GMAT grade (if applicable); (iv) high school grade
