Job Description
The role is responsible for Month end Head Office Reporting, Regulatory Reporting as per US GAAP, Daily General Ledger Control Checks, Reference Data maintenance, Management Information Reporting & Analysis, Inter Entity reconciliation, GL balance substantiation & reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- The other activities also include adhoc issues resolution & queries, ensure data quality before submissions, investigate, resolve and escalate issues on timely basis, both within finance as well as cross departments.

Job responsibilities:
1. Raising Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices through the billing platform
2. Interacting with the fund managers regarding for details for the creation of these AR billing invoices, getting the invoices finalized and approved from them
3. Posting journal entries in the accounting platform
4. Ensuring debtors collection
5. Performing the assigned management reporting task
6. Coordinating with various teams to ensure that the AR accruals are billed timely
7. Handling audit requests
8. Updating desktop procedures (SOP) as and when required with current changes
9. Analyzing the current AR billing processes and identifying process improvement opportunities
10. Working on automation of activities/work, streamlining of process. Assists in the testing and implementation of new initiatives for process/workflow improvements.
11. Performing the month-end tasks related to the assigned activities
12. Ensuring accuracy in performing the assigned work
13. Performs controls in compliance with internal and external audits. Performs ad hoc analysis, works on special projects, and is considered a subject matter expert.
14. Contributes to decisions and projects of diverse scope (e.g. accounting transactions, accounting reconciliations, etc.)
15. Executes business unit's operational controls and audit routines in compliance with internal and external audits.
16. Performs month-end and period-end assigned tasks by due date
Required Skills:
Bachelor degree in Commerce, Good accounting knowledge, Good communication skills, Stakeholders management, openness to embrace Artificial intelligence initiatives of the organization and exploring opportunities to automate the work and working on automations
Preferred skills / experience:
2-3 years of AR billing experience. Preference given to those having experience in accounting platforms of Oracle and CODA, and billing platform of Advantage fee portal.
