Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) team. This role plays a critical part in driving the successful delivery of digital features and enhancements by acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, design, engineering, and delivery teams.
The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of features, ensuring clarity of requirements, smooth execution, and timely delivery while maintaining strong alignment with business objectives. Deep knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products and hands-on experience working in Agile delivery models using Azure DevOps is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical partners to translate business needs into well-defined functional requirements.
- Lead requirement discovery activities including stakeholder discussions, requirement walkthroughs, and solution alignment sessions to ensure a shared understanding of objectives and scope.
- Analyze business problems and digital requirements, recommending solutions that balance customer experience, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
- Decompose high-level initiatives into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria that enable efficient estimation, development, and testing.
- Partner closely with product owners, designers, architects, and engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure alignment and continuity from concept to release.
- Support Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives by providing clarity on requirements and prioritization.
- Assist delivery teams during implementation by clarifying requirements, resolving functional questions, and managing scope-related discussions.
- Monitor progress of assigned initiatives to identify risks, dependencies, and potential delivery challenges, driving timely resolution.
- Validate completed functionality through acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business expectations and defined success criteria.
- Support stakeholder reviews, sprint demonstrations, and release readiness activities by articulating functionality and business value.
- Facilitate final handoff of completed initiatives to business stakeholders, ensuring proper documentation, alignment, and formal approval.
- Assess stakeholder feedback to determine enhancements, defect remediation, or change requests and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.
- Maintain end-to-end accountability for assigned features or initiatives, ensuring transparency, traceability, and effective communication throughout the lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Domain Knowledge
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner in digital or enterprise technology programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Working knowledge is preferred of Adobe Experience Cloud, including products such as:
- AEM Assets
- AEMaaCS
- Workfront
- Adobe Target etc
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Tools & Methodologies
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for feature and backlog management.
- Experience with user story writing, backlog grooming, and sprint planning ceremonies.
- Familiarity with design handoffs, UX workflows, and component-based development.
