About the role

Job Summary:

The HRIS Associate will support the migration of employee documentation from legacy systems into Workday (HRIS). This role will assist with organizing, reviewing, and uploading employee records to ensure documentation is accurately captured, securely stored, and aligned with HR data privacy and records management requirements.

Job Description:

This is a four-week role with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the organization and migration of legacy employee documents, such as employment contracts, performance documents, and other employee records, into Workday.

  • Assist with reviewing, categorizing, and preparing documents for upload into the appropriate Workday locations.

  • Support document loading activities using Workday tools, such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), where applicable.

  • Assist with testing and validation to confirm documents and employee data have been migrated accurately.

  • Follow confidentiality, data privacy, and records management requirements when handling employee information.

  • Collaborate with HR and HRIS teams to resolve document migration questions or issues.

  • Provide regular progress updates to project team.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information.

  • Ability to follow structured processes and meet project timelines.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Familiarity with HR Systems/Workday, data privacy, or HR records management is considered an asset.
