Industrial Maintenance Technicians

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS (1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available) - HOOPESTON, IL

Hourly rates below are dependent on experience:

• Level I = $30.67

• Level II = $33.32

• Level III = $37.21

Shift Hours:

• 1st Shift = 7:30 AM CT to 3 PM CT

• 2nd Shift = 3 PM CT to 11 PM CT

• 3rd Shift = 11 PM CT to 7:30 AM CT

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking Industrial Technicians to join our team and perform assembly, maintenance, and repair of machinery. Your duties will include ensuring the functionality and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems.

You should have good manual dexterity and great attention to detail. We also expect you to be able to work with various machines and tools and to follow all safety precautions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements

• Check machines, engines, transmissions, and other objects regularly, running diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues

• Organize repairs aiming for maximum reliability

• Resolve reported problems promptly

• Organize proper maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems

• Perform cleaning and lubrication of machinery components

• Support and consult users on correct maintenance and preventative measures

• Perform additional wor,k including the repair of hydraulic systems

• Record and manage logs of work and reports

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an industrial environment

• Food industry experience (preferred but not required)

• Significant experience with various hand tools, such as screwdrivers, hammers, and so on, and precision measurement tools, such as calipers

• Working knowledge of industrial mechanics (power transmission, hydraulic, and pneumatic)

• Working knowledge of industrial electricity

• Good experience in understanding and following established procedures and practices, and reading instructions, blueprints, etc.

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent physical strength and stamina

• Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship
