About the role
1) Warranty Data Management
- Collect and analyze warranty data from OEM portals and internal systems.
- Monitor warranty trends (R/1000, cost per vehicle etc.) and identify high-risk components.
- Prepare monthly warranty performance reports for management and customers.
2) Claim Investigation & Root Cause Analysis
- Investigate returned parts and warranty claims to determine failure mode and root cause.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and suppliers for containment and corrective actions.
- Document findings in structured problem-solving format (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
3) Customer Interface
- Communicate with OEM warranty teams regarding claim status, analysis results, and corrective actions.
- Support customer audits and warranty reviews; ensure timely response to inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with customer-specific requirements (e.g., warranty reporting formats, timelines).
4) Continuous Improvement
- Drive initiatives to reduce warranty costs and improve product durability.
- Feed lessons learned into DFMEA/PFMEA and design/process improvements where applicable.
- Support APQP activities with warranty risk analysis for new programs.
5) Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and OEM warranty requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, analysis reports, and corrective actions for audits.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years experience in automotive quality or warranty analysis.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and structured problem-solving.
- Familiarity with OEM warranty systems (Nissan, Honda, Ford, etc.).
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Minitab or similar tools.
- Good communication skills in Thai & English
