PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:• Production workers must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions• Complete work with accuracy and efficiency• Cut full sheets of wood down to size on a rear loaded panel saw• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures• The nature of all production positions is repetitive motions for extended periods of time. The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:• One year of production experience or similar in an assembly, carpentry or detail-oriented environment is preferred• Two to three years of work experience• Knowledge of safe work practices• Basic computer skills• High School diploma or GED preferred• Math skills• Ability to read/write English• Ability to operate various tools• Ability to work in a team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• Prolonged standing, stooping, walking• May be required to frequently lift over 30-40lbs• Overtime is required, including some weekends• May be required to work a flexible schedule
