The Inventory Analyst is responsible for driving inventory visibility, optimization, and reporting across the supply chain. This role focuses heavily on advanced inventory analytics, reporting governance, and actionable insights to improve working capital, service levels, and operational efficiency.
The role supports S&OP processes, demand-to-supply translation, and provides in-depth reporting on inventory health, risks, and opportunities.
As a Inventory Analyst, you will also be responsible for:
- Inventory Planning & Forecasting. Develop and manage inventory forecasts across short-term and long-term horizons.
- Inventory Reporting & Analytics (Core Focus Area). Own and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory reporting packs.
- Inventory Optimization & Control. Define and monitor safety stock, reorder levels, and MOQ strategies.
- Supply Chain Coordination, S&OP & Financial Alignment.
- Operational Execution & Reviews. Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Excess Inventory Reduction, Unallocated Inventory % Reduction, Inventory Turns / WIOS, Forecast Accuracy, Service Level / OTIF, Aging Inventory Reduction, PO Alignment Accuracy.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in inventory analytics, materials planning, or supply chain.
- Strong experience in inventory reporting, analysis, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MRP.
Desired Skills
- Advanced data analytics (Excel, Power BI preferred).
- Strong understanding of inventory KPIs and financial impact. Ability to synthesize large data into actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
