The Property Damage Rep II is responsible for appropriately handling, settling, and closing property damage (automobile) claims that are deemed a total loss by bringing a prompt and amicable resolution. This includes verifying coverage, opening claims, contacting first and third-party claimants, salvage facilities, and other parties involved, and investigating, negotiating, and settling claims based on company guidelines and applicable law.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:45am-5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conclude all claims with an assigned probable or obvious total loss MOI with appropriate closing documents and reports signifying resolution in a timely manner.

  • Conduct ongoing review of all assigned files focusing on required investigation, application of coverage endorsements and necessary documentation. Will keep the supervisor informed on claims’ progress as needed.

  • Initiate appropriate action to conclude all claims in a manner consistent with existing law and multi-state regulations, utilizing company guidelines.

  • Investigate, review, analyze, and evaluate losses of greater complexity expeditiously in preparation for a prompt resolution, utilizing strong negotiation skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Property Damage Level II Representative with a minimum of one year in the repairable unit or equivalent work experience.

  • Maintained compliance with required metrics in current role.

  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to deliver a high-quality customer service experience while showing empathy and kindness to customers in need.

  • Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Technical aptitude, including a working knowledge with Microsoft Office.

  • Mathematical and analytical acumen required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to think critically, use resources and seek answers.

  • Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

  • Bilingual is a plus.

  • CT license is a plus.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.

Pay Range: $61,256-$77,255

Eligible full-time employees receive a competitive Total Rewards package, including but not limited to a 401(k) with employer match up to 8% and additional service-based contributions, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life and Disability coverage, generous PTO, Paid Sick Leave, and paid parental leave in addition to state-mandated leave.
