• Balance strategic oversight with deep engineering by engaging in hands-on coding, mentoring, code reviews, architectural design, and planning to ensure both innovation and delivery excellence.

• Provide technical leadership for cloud platform initiatives, defining requirements, architecture, and success metrics for production rollouts.

• Manage internal customer relationships, including interactions with technical, project, and engineering resources within LBUs.

• Drive prototyping and experimentation, benchmarking workflow performance and security to validate new solution and framework changes.

• Well versed with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) principles and technologies.

• Well versed with container architecture, container standards, container design, container building and able to assess and establish the need for containers.

• Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules and workflows (Terraform, Python/Bash, CI/CD), ensuring adherence to coding standards and existing patterns.

• Mentor and enable engineering peers through design reviews, workshops, documentation, and hands-on guidance to elevate team capabilities.

• Work with various stakeholders to gather requirements, providing technical insights and leadership in the development of cloud-based applications.

• Translate stakeholder requirements into robust, maintainable automation patterns.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Security, and Operations teams to integrate solution, operational process, and third-party services into the platform.

• Lead post-incident reviews and implement continuous improvements to enhance system resilience and reliability.

Who we are looking for:

• Deep Azure & GCP knowledge: landing zones, VPC/VNet, Firewalls, IAM, Managed k8s, VM, etc.

• Expertise in cloud architecture and services across platforms, multi-tenancy and shared patterns.

• Strong foundation in Cloud Automation tools and practices, with a focus on infrastructure as code (IaC), Terraform, CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Back) for automation and configuration management.

• Ability to lead and manage small teams, setting clear goals and fostering a positive team environment.

• Strong architectural thinking: modular, secure, and scalable designs.

Working Experience

• Proven track record delivering large-scale Azure/GCP projects, including prototypes, production launches and long-term maintenance.

• At least 6 years of software or infrastructure engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within cloud development teams.

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining self-service infrastructure platforms.

• Demonstrated success mentoring engineers and driving cross-team initiatives.
