Occupational Therapist

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist – Project Role (Single-Handed Care) for its client at The Portal, Ellesmere Port.
Our client is launching a targeted initiative to reduce double-handed care packages and is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to lead this impactful project. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in single-handed care and make a meaningful difference to service delivery and outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Lead on complex single-handed care cases, targeting packages currently requiring double-handed carers.
• Conduct detailed assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to promote independence.
• Recommend and implement appropriate equipment and adaptations to reduce care input.
• Collaborate with care providers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective transitions.
• Provide expert advice and training to colleagues and carers on single-handed care techniques.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to project reporting and evaluation.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote person-centred care.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Extensive experience in single-handed care and manual handling
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
