Job Description

Manage Custodial Services to achieve the highest quality and responsive services within available resources by providing day-to-day operations coordination, supervision, training, evaluation and leadership of their assigned HTC Facilities Management team in order to build pride of purpose within that staff and see that their actions support the goals of increased enrollment, improved retention and improved graduation rates.

Salary Range:

23.33 - 31.83 USD Hourly

Minimum Qualifications

  • One year supervisory experience
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and promote cooperation
  • Thorough knowledge of building custodial practices, procedures, equipment, materials, and supplies
  • Budget management experience
  • Working knowledge of purchasing guidelines and policies
  • Working knowledge of inventory management
  • Ability to be flexible with work hours and responsibilities, occasionally working early, late or weekend hours

Preferred Qualification 

  • Knowledge or experience in a workforce management program, allowing efficient management and tracking of resources, and delineation of job areas and duties to optimize cleaning duties within a facility
  • Knowledge of labor contracts for applicable bargaining units
  • Working knowledge of all applicable public health, safety and building code regulations
  • Working knowledge of general maintenance and custodial procedures and standards
