About the role
POSITION SUMMARY:
Ken Garff Automotive Group is looking for an Accounting Intern to help with the internal auditing and accounting process improvement at its 70+ dealerships. The selected individual will be a member of the corporate Business Operations team, reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting, and will also work closely with the corporate accounting team, and the dealership accounting office teams. Training in automotive dealership accounting and software systems will be provided.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Great communication skills, written and verbal
- Great analytical skills and attention to detail
- Completed at least one year of university accounting courses
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Track record of learning quickly, completing complicated tasks and meeting deadlines
- Energetic self-starter, who works well individually and as part of a team
- Available to work fulltime in Salt Lake City, UT from May – August 2026. Some overtime may be required. Some travel may be required

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Need ability to move around the dealership. The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
