Role

We are looking for a seasoned Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Product Security Engineering department. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Director, Software Engineering. You will join our Internal Security Automation team, contributing to securing the world’s largest cloud security platform. You'll bring your vision and passion to a team of experts who enable organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility through a cloud-first strategy.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

Design, build, and operate foundational security services, AI security agents, and integrations with internal systems to empower Zscaler engineering teams to ship secure software
Implement scalable APIs and microservices in Go for seamless system communication
Collaborate with architects and product owners to ensure cloud services align with company standards
Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production issues while continuously improving system reliability
