Principal Accountabilities:
The FP&A Senior Analyst is responsible for managing month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, performing variance analysis, and delivering actionable insights to support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute month-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Validate financial data from ERP systems and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare and review P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Perform detailed variance analysis on actuals vs. budget/forecast.
- Identify key drivers of variances and provide clear, concise commentary for management reports.
- Develop financial models to support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Deliver actionable insights to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and resource allocation. Streamline reporting processes and implement automation tools for efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for variance commentary.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst provides financial support for a key business area and shared services by driving monthly and quarterly forecasts, variance analysis, and management reporting. The role focuses on trend analysis, rolling forecasts, and margin optimization to improve profitability. Partnering with business leaders, the analyst delivers actionable insights into financial and operational performance to support strategic initiatives.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Overall 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Preparing Business Plans & Financial Plans based on quarterly rolling estimates by
- performing variance analysis.
- Performing data consolidation& evaluation of financial data. Analysis of different statements
including comprehensive analysis of current and past financial data performance. - Coordinating closely with onshore advisors and finance teams to review projections, budgets
and historical results. - Tracking revenue & expenses /coordinating
escalations / identification of issues by performing strategic financial analysis to access clients financial & business performance. - Should be open for Shifts timings: 12 PM - 9 PM

Position Qualifications:
- 7-9 years of FP&A or related finance roles with exposure to month-end close and variance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and management accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial analytics
- Experience using Oracle a plus but not required
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
