As a Sourcing Experienced Professional - Buying/Procurement you will oversee the effective purchasing of defined work scopes, ensure accurate raw material status reporting, and control and expedite processes in a professional manner in accordance with the broader Supply Chain Strategy. You will act as a vital link between our internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
As a Sourcing Experienced Professional - Buying/Procurement, you will be responsible for:
Collaborate with the Global Category Team on sourcing strategy, supplier selection, onboarding, and negotiations to drive targeted cost reduction initiatives
Manage supplier delivery performance, quality, cost, and inventory while building and sustaining long-term supplier relationships
Execute end-to-end procurement processes including PO issuance and acknowledgment, handling MRP exception messages, coordinating logistics, and ensuring accurate goods receipt in ERP systems
Work closely with Supplier Quality to resolve supplier performance and quality issues and collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Finance, Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Service teams for alignment on material requirements and order fulfillment
Drive cost negotiations focused on product cost reduction and total cost optimization, delivering measurable cost savings
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company Code of Conduct, trade compliance regulations, internal procurement policies, and HSE requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or oil & gas sector
Have strong communication and negotiation skills with excellent organizational and time management abilities
Have technical knowledge including CNC machining of completion tools, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Have a solid understanding of modern purchasing practices, principles, and procedures
Have hands-on experience with procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba
Have professional certification in Supply Chain or Procurement (e.g., CIPS, CSCP)
Have familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
