WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Under the direction of the registered nurse (RN), the PCT I perform delegated patient care activities in a manner that is aligned with the age specific needs of the patient to ensure safe, accurate, and high-quality care.
- PCT I is an entry level position whose job functions include but are not limited to providing for a patient's activities of daily living (ADLs); limited screening, collection, and recording of data and information; maintenance of unit supplies and equipment; patient transporting; answering call-lights, telephone, Vocera.
- Shifts are 7-7 with a weekend and holiday rotation
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/ GED- Preferred
- Nursing student after having completed 1st semester of clinicals- Required OR
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)in the state of Indiana- Required OR
- Prior PCT experience in another acute care health care organization- Required OR
- Completion of Franciscan PCT In-training program-Required
