Network Security Test and Support
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Security specialist with a minimum of 8 years’ experience with large-scale ISP or enterprise networks. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of network security issues, routing protocols, router security features, firewalls, testing and troubleshooting in large networks with equipment from multiple vendors, as well as proven expertise in test automation and network automation to enhance testing efficiency, consistency, and coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze security issues in test and production networks and determine appropriate security solutions.
Perform functional, integration, performance, and security testing on multi-vendor network solutions and network elements.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance network security testing efficiency and coverage.
Automate repetitive testing tasks to increase reliability and speed of test cycles.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation of security controls and features.
Develop and document test plans, results, and defects; collaborate with vendors, designers, and operations team to resolve issues.
Contribute to continuous testing improvements in network development lifecycle.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automated testing processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Evaluate and introduce new automation tools and methodologies to improve testing processes.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience with security in large scale networks
Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting).
Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP, static routing), ACLs, AAA (TACACS, RADIUS).
Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or other major vendor routing equipment.
Familiarity with Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, or other major vendor firewall equipment.
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for network security validation
Proficiency in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, shell scripts, etc.)
Experience integrating automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines
Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Syslog, SNMP, GNMI, SIEM).
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Ability to analyze test automation results and troubleshoot automation failures
Knowledge of best practices in automated testing, including test data management and reporting.
Experienced in implementing and managing TACACS+ and RADIUS based AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) solutions across enterprise network environments.
Skilled in integrating network devices, firewalls, VPNs, wireless controllers, and security platforms with centralized authentication servers.
Strong expertise in troubleshooting authentication failures, policy enforcement, user access controls, and secure remote access.
Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, FreeRADIUS, and multi-vendor network security environments.
1. Familiarity with applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) techniques in cybersecurity contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, threat hunting, behavioral analytics, or risk scoring).
2. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (such as Copilot for Security, Darktrace, CrowdStrike Charlotte AI, or custom LLM integrations) to enhance detection, response, and automation workflows.
3. Understanding of LLM safety, prompt engineering, or AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act readiness) is a plus.
4. Exposure to data science fundamentals relevant to security (pattern recognition, supervised vs. unsupervised learning, model validation).
5. Awareness of AI-driven risks (e.g., adversarial ML, data poisoning, model hallucination) and their mitigation within enterprise environments.
6. Interest in leveraging GenAI for security operations, such as summarizing alerts, drafting reports, or automating incident triage.
