About the role
The Specialized Analytics Ld Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. This role is focused on Digital Acquisitions strategy & capabilities for US Cards business. This is an exciting blend of Data Science, Digital & strategic role. This role will also have a significant number of Analysts directly reporting. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Hands on develop & mentor team-members to develop & approve Machine Learning Models (like XGBOOST)
- Drive & deliver in-depth data driven redesign and test recommendations to improve digital funnel efficiency
- Optimize Paid Media spend and strategy for Paid Search through google, Aggregator spends and paid social – with models and data driven analytical approaches
- Assess ATL strategy and drive recommendations on ATL & BTL investment strategy with advanced attribution techniques
- Prepare for senior leadership communications
- Incumbents work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
- Specialization in marketing, digital and Banking domain
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience in Machine Learning Model development
- Experience in Digital Analytics, Paid Media optimization
- Working experience in a quantitative field, Financial/Credit Card industry
- Must have Demonstrated ability in data retrieving and manipulation as well as proficient analytical skills
- Excellent analytic ability and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent MS Excel skills to develop analytic presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, and adaptive to matrix work environment
