Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities:
General support and assistance for maintenance Engineers / Senior/ Supervisor/ Management staff for aircraft maintenance and servicing, basic or elementary maintenance activities, as necessary and as applicable.
Ensure A&P/Avionics Engineers or A&P/Avionics Senior Engineers should be physically present prior commencing each specific task to ensure safety and quality of work.
Should not commence work unsupervised at any circumstances thus presence of mind, practically, common sense is encouraged.
Scheduled/Unscheduled maintenance and servicing of Aircraft’s Airframe, Powerplant systems and related components as required and in reference to applicable and current Aircraft’s maintenance manuals/ technical references.
Tear Down, Testing, Inspections, Troubleshooting, Repair and Modification (as applicable) Airframe, Powerplant and associated system/components i.a.w. the approved /current/applicable Aircraft OEM maintenance manual/technical references..
Delegated basic/elementary maintenance tasks are completed in an efficient and cost effective manner, thus this should not compromise quality and safety standards.
Perform other tasks as directed by the immediate head as reasonable and practical in line with general scope or level of his/her skills and expertise, in addition to work related inherent administrative matters.
