Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
The Role
We are looking for a leader to lead a team of project managers and coordinators responsible for launching Netflix titles. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Launch Operations, this role will focus on driving operational excellence, improving launch quality, and elevating the team’s skill sets and approach to their work.
As a leader in the India team, you will oversee highly complex launches across a diverse slate of content in EMEA and APAC. You will also chart the path to launch some of the new content types that Netflix is expanding to in these regions. You will build and scale best-in-class operational strategies while partnering with key cross-functional teams to refine workflows, engagement models and improve quality and efficiency.
This is an opportunity to lead and mentor a tenured team, developing their expertise in launch execution, stakeholder management, and problem-solving. You will enhance an existing culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
What You’ll Do
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers and coordinators, ensuring they have the tools, training, and guidance to succeed.
Drive continuous improvement in launch quality, optimizing workflows to improve efficiency, setting higher standards across both branded and non-branded titles to attain overall launch excellence.
Enhance team capabilities, and up-leveling skills in operational planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and data-driven decision-making.
Inspiring the team to conceptualise and develop AI or Automation first solutions and independently self-build these capabilities
Implement scalable processes that anticipate challenges and enable the team to work smarter, not just harder.
Partner cross-functionally with Product Merchandising, Engineering, Content Localisation, Post, Rights Management and Regional teams to align on best practices, solve operational challenges, and drive long-term improvements.
Analyze launch performance and operational data to identify inefficiencies, address bottlenecks, and enhance future launches.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation, empowering the team to proactively solve problems and drive meaningful impact.
What We’re Looking For
12+ years of experience in operations, program management, or project management within streaming, tech, entertainment, or related industries.
3+ years of leadership experience, with a strong ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams.
Understanding of content operations, localization, creative and post-production workflows with a passion for refining and scaling launch processes.
Strong problem-solving mindset, able to navigate complexity, anticipate challenges, and drive solutions proactively
Proven experience in optimizing workflows to improve efficiency and quality via technology
Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across global teams.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining high execution standards.
A strategic thinker who is hands-on when needed, with a drive to push the boundaries of what a best-in-class launch operation should look like.
This is a unique opportunity to elevate Netflix’s Launch Operations in India, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional title launches at scale. If you’re passionate about driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and solving complex launch challenges, we’d love to hear from you.
