Job Description:

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Ergonomics Engineer to join our team.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a background in ergonomics, human factors, mechanical/automotive engineering, or related fields.
  • In this role, you will support ergonomics studies, benchmarking activities, and vehicle usability assessments while working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • You will also gain hands-on experience in analyzing designs, applying industry standards, and contributing to product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating ergonomics and benchmarking activities from planning to completion.
  • Review and understand technical documents, guidelines, and safety standards (e.g., NCAP, IIHS, NHTSA).
  • Support benchmarking studies of competitor vehicles focusing on usability and ergonomics.
  • Perform basic ergonomic evaluations using standard methods (heuristic and measurement-based).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, vehicle safety standards, and best practices.
  • Help prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for project updates.
  • Participate in team meetings and support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Assist in vehicle integration and validation activities.

Required Qualifications (Freshers / Entry-Level)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents with a willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of ergonomics or human-centered design principles.
  • Good organizational and coordination skills.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD tools (preferably NX or similar).

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to ergonomics tools such as Siemens Jack or similar software.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems or product design.
  • Academic/project experience in usability studies or design evaluation.
  • Familiarity with safety standards or benchmarking concepts.

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Interest in user experience and product design.
