Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer or any related Engineering stream / MCA with excellent academic records (10th, 12th and Graduation).
• 2 to 4 years of industry experience in Software QA with hands on experience on automation tools- Selenium/Playwright

Role:

Join us to grow as an automation-focused QA Engineer working on real-world engineering software! In this role, you’ll build hands on experience with industry leading products like Creo and Windchill, while sharpening your core QA and automation skills. You’ll work on innovative projects that integrate desktop and web technologies and get the chance to learn and apply modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium and UI Trail.

If you enjoy solving problems, improving product quality, and expanding your technical competencies, this role gives you the perfect platform to learn, contribute and grow.

As a QAE, you would need to:

• Create automated tests utilizing tools like Selenium, Playwright, UI Trail and languages like Java, Typescript
• Apply problem-solving methods to identify instabilities in automated tests and offer solutions to address them.
• Share technical information with the team and with a wider audience whenever required
• Gain an understanding of the product's architecture and how different functionalities are interconnected to establish a thorough and pertinent automation coverage.
• Comprehending customer needs and common product usage patterns
• Design and write comprehensive test cases to evaluate and validate the product's behavior.
• Work together with Technical Product Management and Development teams to review acceptance criteria and specification documents for new product development projects.
• Develop efficient processes to ensure that any product defects are reported as quickly as possible after they are introduced.
• Closely work on manual testing activities and failure analysis of tests to make sure that any Product defects are promptly reported.

Skills and expertise

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/ Typescript or Python
• Hands on experience of working on automation tools like Selenium and Playwright.
• Exposure to object oriented programming is desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and Technical Learning Abilities
• Exposure to any industry leading PLM/PDM system will be an added advantage.

Good to have skills

• Understanding of software applications in Client-Server architecture
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell, Python, Perl
• Experience of working on REST API Testing & Automation
