About the role
The primary role of the Food & Beverage Supervisor for the Club Lounge is responsible for supervising the set-up and breakdown of banquet and event spaces in a hotel, conference center, or other event venue. Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Forbes Standards for guest interactions.
Following up with guest complaints and issues
Coach and train staff while acting as a role model
Maintain cleanliness of work area
Monitor food usage during shift to ensure proper food presentation throughout food service times.
Assist with scheduling and planning monthly staff meetings and encouraging a sense of teamwork and respect between all lounge associates.
Maintain stock at appropriate levels and complete all side work.
Attend to and anticipate guests’ needs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Previous supervisory experience
Associate degree
ServSafe
TIPS Certification
Weekend and holiday availability with occasional overtime.
Multitasking with the ability to prioritize

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift equipment, supplies, etc. of at least 30 pounds; push and pull equipment, supplies, etc., at least 75 pounds.
Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.
The role may require extended periods of time on your feet, especially during peak hotel hours or events.
Good hearing is necessary for effective communication with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.
