Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Parametric Technology (India) Private Limited. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and design specifications.
* Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
* Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
* Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.
* Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product features and ensure quality throughout the development process.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
* Automate test cases using appropriate tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
* Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback on product quality to project teams and management.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 2-5 years of experience in software Quality Assurance or testing roles.
* Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
* Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and performing root cause analysis.
* Experience with various testing types, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
* Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).
* Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
