Job Description

Summary

The core function of the Project Manager is to develop and manage the full development/implementation lifecycle, scope, timeline, resources, deliverables, issues, and escalations while continually managing client expectations. The Project Manager will collaborate with project leadership to bring thought leadership and the full force of FormativGroup to your engagements.

We're anticipating future openings and are connecting now with great talent who'd like to be considered when the time comes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Salesforce projects—overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and deliverables across the SDLC or Agile lifecycle.

  • Lead day-to-day project execution, ensuring adherence to delivery standards, requirements processes, solutioning best practices, and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor progress and financials; create status reports; track risks, issues, and impediments; develop mitigation plans and escalate when needed.

  • Serve as the primary client contact to drive strong relationships, facilitate meetings, gather requirements, and deliver presentations, prototypes, and status updates.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional and technical approaches, validate solution strategy, and ensure high-quality Salesforce delivery.

  • Support hands-on delivery as needed, including Salesforce configuration, data loads, and review of team deliverables.

  • Participate in pre-sales activities such as scoping, estimating, building POCs, and creating case studies or success stories.

  • Mentor and guide project team members, including offshore resources, while meeting company utilization and project performance expectations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager within Salesforce consulting, leading large multi-cloud, multi-integration, multi-workstream projects.

  • 5+ years of Agile software delivery experience (Project/Product/Program Management) across full product, software, and testing lifecycles.
