About the Team

This team will be responsible for building, store selling applications for various persona’s ACO, SCO, Customer Care experience refresh with improved navigation, personalization, and features unique to the needs of individual customers and organizations. Increase helpfulness of saved lists/quoting for shopping and project planning. Improve quote, customer service, project management, notifications and drive overall selling and engagement.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical direction on translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs. This includes facilitating the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. This role serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers complex code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Translates user stories and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions in an agile environment.

• Collaborates with key stakeholders including product management, infrastructure and security to ensure that functional specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs.

• Develop UI components using UI tech stacks (React, React Hooks, Redux, Redux-Saga/Redux-Thunk)

• Develops, configures, or modifies complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments by designing and coding component-based applications.

• Validates and executes BDD scenarios to identify application errors and ensure software solutions meet functional specifications.

• Facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications by packaging solutions for deployment.

• Supports end-to-end test automation and other application testing efforts to ensure product quality.

• Mentors others by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls.

Years of Experience

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in software development or a related field.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.

Primary Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field).

• 5+ years of experience in software development or a related field

• ​4+ years of experience in database technologies.

• 4+ years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

• Primary Skills

• Proficient understanding of web fundamentals, design principles and web architecture.

• Proficient understanding and experience on HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, JavaScript, ES6, asynchronous programming, functional programming and TDD/BDD.

• Experience on React, React Hooks, Redux, Redux-Saga/Redux-Thunk and related technologies.

• Experience with Node/Hapi JS/Express/Fastify.

• Experience in building isomorphic web applications using JavaScript.

• Experience in unit testing frameworks like Jest and Enzyme.

• Deep knowledge around aspects of scalability, load balancing, memory optimization and application performance for large scale cloud-based applications (1M+ users).

• Understanding of the CI-CD implementation and code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN, etc.

Secondary Skills

• Experience with TypeScript, React Styled Components, React Storybook and JavaScript frameworks.

• Experience with Accessibility, SEO and Web Analytics.

• Experience with Google cloud platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Spinnaker.

• Experience with any JavaScript automation test framework.

• Understanding of AB test implementation
