Job Description

You make EVERYONE feel like they BELONG.

The Opportunity

As a Centre Coordinator within Member Services, you’re the first point of connection for our members—and the one who sets the tone for their entire experience. You bring energy, organization, and a genuine passion for helping people, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, efficient, and meaningful.

In this fast-paced, people-focused role, you’ll balance front-line member support with administrative coordination. From managing appointment flow to connecting members with the right experts, you play a key role in delivering a seamless and positive experience.

If you thrive on variety, enjoy solving problems on the fly, and take pride in creating great first impressions, this is where you’ll shine.

A Place to Belong

AMA is more than a workplace; it’s a family. Together, we help protect the things that matter most to our more than one-million members—everything from roadside safety to retail savings, food security to childhood well-being. And with operations that span automotive, registries, travel, insurance and more, the opportunities to grow with us are almost limitless!

Building on a century of proud service in Alberta communities, we’re passionate about making a meaningful difference in the places where we live and work. And that all begins with our people. As part of the AMA team, you’ll enjoy:

  • Flexible benefits with 5 different packages to select, ranging from $1000 - $3000 health and wellness spending accounts.
  • Outstanding employer-paid Retirement Savings Plan (5% AMA contribution + 5% AMA matching)
  • Great AMA discounts like 50% off memberships, driver education programs, and registry services.
  • Unlimited learning opportunities, including full Udemy access and dedicated learning time for personal development.
  • Paid time off, including 3 weeks of vacation, Me-Day, and Volunteer Day. Also, the flexibility to purchase 1 or 2 weeks’ vacation time spread across multiple pay periods.

Who You Are

  • A people-person who enjoys connecting with others and creating positive experiences
  • A strong communicator who balances professionalism with a warm, approachable style
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and follows through
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Welcome members and create a friendly, positive first impression
  • Assess needs and connect members with the right team members for support
  • Provide information about AMA products, services, and membership benefits
  • Manage traffic flow, appointments, and promote self-service options to reduce wait times
  • Maintain a clean, organized space while supporting administrative and reception tasks

What You Bring to the Table

  • High school diploma
  • 2–3 years of retail, administrative, or customer service experience
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong multitasking skills
