We’re seeking a Junior Associate, Solution Engineering based in our Pune, India office. In this role, you will be Understand business and technical requirements and identify test scenarios.
Role Responsibilities
- Understand business and technical requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Prepare and execute test cases for functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects through closure.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Support automation test execution and maintenance of test scripts.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Soft Skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing practices.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Role Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of Automation Testing, with hands-on experience using Selenium.
- Good knowledge of Manual Testing, including test case creation, execution, defect reporting, and regression testing.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).
- Basic knowledge of API testing and database validation is an added advantage.
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
