Mécanicien de Machine Fixe 2B – JLL

En quoi consiste ce poste :

Le Mécanicien de Machine Fixe est responsable de l'exploitation, de la maintenance et de la surveillance des systèmes mécaniques et électriques essentiels aux opérations du bâtiment. En tant que membre clé de l'équipe des opérations techniques, vous assurez le fonctionnement optimal et sécuritaire des équipements, contribuant directement à l'efficacité énergétique, au confort des occupants et à la fiabilité des installations de JLL. Votre expertise technique garantit la conformité réglementaire et soutient les objectifs opérationnels de l'entreprise.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien :

• Assurer l'exploitation, la surveillance et l'entretien des systèmes de chauffage, ventilation, climatisation (CVC), de réfrigération et de production d'énergie

• Effectuer des rondes d'inspection régulières pour surveiller le bon fonctionnement des équipements et identifier les anomalies

• Répondre aux alarmes et pannes d'équipements, effectuer le dépannage et les réparations nécessaires

• Effectuer l'entretien préventif et correctif des équipements mécaniques, électriques et de contrôle

• Consigner les données opérationnelles, les interventions et les lectures des équipements dans les registres appropriés

• Collaborer avec les fournisseurs externes et entrepreneurs pour les travaux spécialisés

• Assurer le respect des normes de sécurité, des codes du bâtiment et des réglementations environnementales

Qualifications requises :

• Certificat de Mécanicien de Machine Fixe classe 2B délivré par la Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ)

• Connaissance des systèmes de chauffage, ventilation, climatisation, réfrigération et production d'énergie

• Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans mécaniques et électriques

• Compétences en dépannage et résolution de problèmes techniques

• Capacité à travailler en rotation (jour, soir, nuit) et en disponibilité pour les urgences

• Bonnes compétences en communication écrite et orale en français

Qualifications préférées :

• Expérience avec les systèmes de gestion de bâtiment (BMS) et d'automatisation

• Connaissance des systèmes de contrôle Honeywell, Johnson Controls ou similaires

• Formation en électricité ou en réfrigération

• Expérience dans un environnement commercial ou institutionnel de grande envergure

• Certification en premiers soins et RCR

*Interactions orales et/ou écrites avec des locataires ou partenaires externes basés à l’extérieur du Québec (par exemple, fournisseurs de services, cabinets d’avocats, pairs, banquiers, firmes de courtage, firmes d’analyse de crédit, agences de crédits, clientèle non-francophone, etc.)

Building Operator 2B – JLL

What this job involves:

The Building Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of mechanical and electrical systems essential to building operations. As a key member of the technical operations team, you ensure optimal and safe equipment performance, contributing directly to energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and facility reliability at JLL properties. Your technical expertise ensures regulatory compliance and supports the company's operational objectives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and power generation systems

• Conduct regular inspection rounds to monitor equipment performance and identify anomalies

• Respond to equipment alarms and failures, perform troubleshooting and necessary repairs

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control equipment

• Record operational data, interventions, and equipment readings in appropriate logs

• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized work

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Class 2B Stationary Engineer Certificate issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) or equivalent provincial certification

• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and power generation systems

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

• Troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills

• Ability to work rotating shifts (day, evening, night) and be available for emergencies

• Strong written and oral communication skills in French

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation

• Knowledge of Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar control systems

• Training in electrical or refrigeration systems

• Experience in large-scale commercial or institutional environments

• First Aid and CPR certification

*Oral and/or written interactions with tenants or external partners based outside Quebec (for example, service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, non-French-speaking clients, etc.)
